Staying Fit Thru the Holiday Season
 

Staying FIT thru the Holidays is not always an easy task. We hope that this will give you a few things to think about when you are tempted to indulge or when you feel obligated to say yes to food put out for the parties. Most of us think that we will hurt someone’s feelings buy saying no or not sampling all the food, but the truth of the matter is, people look up to and respect someone that shows a strong sense of discipline in there lives. Here are a few ideas to use during those Holiday parties:

• Eat something healthy before you go so you are not as hungry.
• Drink water during the party. It will fill you up.
• It is OK to say “NO THANK YOU.” You do not have to explain that you are on a diet or watching what you are eating. Just saying it is enough.
• Bring a healthy dish to share with everyone.

It is also very important to keep up with your exercise program such as a Fitness Boot Camp during this time of the year. It is proven that when you exercise that your body releases “feel good” feelings into your body and it will help you be a peaceful person and less stressed out during this time of the year. Life is too short, so whatever we can do to make each day a better day is worth doing.
